Debut 2018 – Industry Panel

This was my third year covering Debut, which is an industry panel discussion and a showcase for Musical Theatre graduates of Chichester University. An evening, to enjoy the talents of the Musical Theatre graduates and a chance for them to hear from professionals on their experiences. The graduates showcase their talents to friends, family and also hope of securing an agent to help to propel them into the industry full-time.

Once again I covered the industry panel in the afternoon by live tweeting key points, but this year I also captured it on film. So you can see what, Seiriol Davies, Carolyn Maitland, Ben Forster and Mark Shenton, hosted by Carl Woodward, can tell you of their experiences.

I was, as I have been in previous years, very impressed with the level achieved in the evenings showcase. There were some fine vocals, strong stage presence and acting skills demonstrated. And with my casting hat on for Red Casting I also left with some headshots and will be making contact with these shortly.
