And The winners are……….#OlivierAwards Results blog! Now with review links included!

So you’ll have to forgive me as this will be a mainly pictorial blog as I’m currently nursing the flu! However with my passion for theatre and having commissioned opinion from my beloved followers I really felt I could not let the #Stagey Oscars pass without a blog piece.

In compiling this blog prior to the awards ceremony I’ve been struck by what a strong year this is with some outstanding stellar performances and casts. Most of my Twitter followers will know about my particular penchant for the audience award is however again who could argue with any of the four that are in that category winning?

There are categories that I haven’t experienced sufficient within them to make a prediction and will be marked by – just shows I need to expand my viewing experiences!

Out of 8 predictions how did I do in the second half? Well amazingly I got 5 of them right! 9/19 Not too shabby!

The last  award of the evening was a special award quite rightly going to Kevin Spacey who completes his tenure as the artistic director for the Old Vic.

How did you do on your predictions? Personally I was truly gutted on one but hey that’s awards ceremonies! The big winners of the night were Sunny Afternoon with Four! However the biggest winners were US the paying theatregoing audience who get to witness such incredible live performances such as all these shows nominated and on in our theatre’s!

Hope you’ve enjoyed this evening as much as I have that’s Carn’s Theatre Passion over and out for the OlivierAwards 2015 see you all in 2016!
